I Complete Me

There’s a part of me that absolutely loves this tale; it touches the romantic optimist inside of me who believes completely in soul mates. However, as I’ve grown older I’ve had to come to understand a hard but happy truth about life and love. Finding love is not about finding the person who will “complete” you, it is about being with someone who enhances the whole person that you already are. If you look for someone to complete you they will never be able to fulfill that roll; you are the only one with that power.

Put simply: 1/2 + 1/2 = 1 and 1+1=2 and we all know 2 > 1
